Import Beer Girl Costume W/Lace Up Front Apron Dress

A quick and easy way to celebrate the nearing holiday season is by sending someone flowers. Online flower delivery services are gearing up for a busy winter season and already have special sales available on festive arrangements. But, a common misconception is that flower services only sell flowers. This couldn't be further from the truth!

Many websites catering to flower delivery also provide popular holiday gifts, such as popcorn tins and gourmet baskets. There are always changeable sales, as well. 6StarReviews.com cites FTD as a website that not only provides countless flowers of all kinds, they also personalize custom gift baskets and Thanksgiving centerpieces. What better way to enjoy the holiday than with autumn-inspired colors and designs? Many harvest bouquets and tabletop centerpieces are offered at discount rates, to ensure your holiday is extra special.

Another popular flower site, 1-800-Flowers, is now offering customers special discounts on gift baskets. Though flowers are their specialty, 1-800-Flowers has incredible deals on orchard fruit gift baskets, holiday gourmet gifts and custom-designed gift purchases from names like Paula Deen and the Barefoot Contessa, a Food Network fan's dream.

Though pre-selected bouquets and arrangements often come in holiday colors, you may wish to pick out your own colors. For Thanksgiving, some great flower choices include chrysanthemums, gerbera daisies and bittersweet. Poinsettias, assorted lilies and orchids are popular picks throughout the Christmas and Hanukkah season. Remember, online flower services can ship arrangements the same day if needed, and they have flowers from all seasons year-round!

Advent calendars are a fun and exciting way to countdown the days to Christmas. Each day a new surprise is revealed as Christmas Day gets closer.

A Christmas Pyramid Advent Calendar makes the countdown even more exciting, as bigger surprises, such as ornaments and decorations for the tree, can be revealed.

But perhaps the most exciting way to countdown to Christmas is to reveal, day by day, new elements for a nativity scene, culminating on Christmas Eve with a tiny baby to lie in the crib.

Advent begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day and lasts for 21 days to Christmas Eve. So you will need 21 square boxes, all the same size, decorated with Christmas paper, or painted silver or gold. Alternating gold and silver, or red and green, looks even more impressive.

Take the lids and remove the rims from three sides on each lid, using a sharp craft knife, leaving one rim intact. Paint a thin line of craft glue around the edges with no rim and dip in glitter. Allow to dry.

Make a hole in the edge of the lid opposite the remaining rim - right in the middle - and poke through a gold colored split pin. Open out the split pin on the inside of the lid so that it stays put. Do the same with all the remaining lids. Number each lid from 1 to 21 using stick on numbers.

Using craft glue or a glue gun, secure the remaining rim of each lid to one side of each box, so that it opens like a flap. Allow to dry thoroughly, and then start assembling your advent calendar.

Place boxes 1-6 side by side and make sure they are perfectly aligned with the lids at the front and the split pin handles at the bottom. Using craft glue or a hot glue gun, glue each box to its neighbor so you have a foundation row of six boxes.

Glue boxes 7-11 side by side for the second row, and place it on the first row as if you were making a pyramid of blocks. Glue it in place. There should be half a box length of the bottom row at each end of the second row.

Glue boxes 12-15 together, and make the fourth row with boxes 16-18, followed by 19-20 for the fifth row, and the remaining box - number 21 - on top. You should now have a pyramid stack of 21 boxes with flaps in front that open upward.

Put a Christmas tree decoration, a small gift, or a piece of a nativity scene in each box. The 21st box should hold something special - a glittering star for the tree, a Christmas candle, or the baby for the crib.

Place your pyramid on a shelf or in the window. You can further decorate it by covering the sides with glitter or placing Christmas ornaments on the steps.

Toddler Dash Halloween Costume (Size: 4T)

1. It is not Christmas when you want to choke the Santa in the store instead of placing your child on his lap. Do you really have to explain to him why you cannot afford half of what your child is about to ask him for?

2. It is not Christmas when you start singing Jinglehells instead of Jinglebells while Christmas caroling and it is not a mistake.

3. It is not Christmas when you make grinch Christmas cookies.

4. It is not Christmas when you place a Santa in your front yard with his pockets turned inside out.

5. It is not Christmas when you send one Christmas card out by email to be forwarded to everyone.

6. It is not Christmas when your Christmas gift to everyone is a copy of your ebook that you just cannot seem to sell.

7. It is not Christmas when instead of a live Christmas tree you have an E tree showing on your computer screen.

8. It is not Christmas when you wear a shirt proclaiming that Tickle Me Elmo doll greed killed Christmas spirit.

9. It is not Christmas when you give your dogs' new litter of puppies away as Christmas gifts.

10. It is not Christmas when you send a note out with your Christmas cards saying instead of gifts please make a donation to my astounding credit card debt.

I hope these cheered you up and got you in the mood for the Christmas season to come.
Thanks for reading.

Children's Skunk Halloween Costume (X-Small 4-6)

Customer Review: Excellent costume
I bought this for my 5 yr old daughter as a birthday gift. I am very pleased with the quality for the price. It is very cute and easy to put on over clothes. I love the big fluffy tail! My daughter got hot when wearing it around the house for more than 20 or 30 mins. But where we live it will be perfect for trick or treat weather. She won't need to wear a coat or hat as this costume will provide plenty of warmth and cover her ears. Excellent costume!

If you saw your kids watching a show featuring a boy that transforms into aliens, they have probably been watching Ben 10. If you are wondering why they would want to be him this Halloween, or you are not quite sure what this show might be about, here is a summary:

The show features three main characters: Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen, and their grandfather Max. The show opens up with Ben and Gwen getting into an argument. Ben then angrily marches off into the woods. While there, he finds a pod on the ground. Upon examination, he notices that a watch-like machine (Omnitrix) is stored inside.

This machine attaches to his arm, and allows him to change into the form of various aliens. Each alien possesses its own special power. The theme behind why the Omnitrix possesses this power is that the creator, Azmuth, designed it so that different species could understand each other better. As Ben gains mastery of the Omnitrix, it is eluded that it increases in size as Ben gains mastery of it (using Ben 10000 as an example).

The first series ended in April of 2008, but the sequel, "Ben 10: Alien Force" picked up immediately after the first series ended. In the sequel, Ben and Gwen appear more mature and proficient in their powers.

Why would my kids want to be Ben 10 this Halloween?

If I were a child, I think I would be in awe that I could turn into all sorts of different aliens with different abilities. My imagination would be running a mile a minute! I would be imagining up adventures for my friends and I to experience in the backyard or in the garage. It would only be natural for them to want to dress like Ben 10 this Halloween so that they can model after their favorite hero! Why would my kids not want to be Ben 10?

It is Tuesday before Thanksgiving and your home is a buzz with excitement. Now is the time for a cool head and to start the cooking. It may be hard to resist the temptation to taste all the pies and treats a bit early but you can resist. You may even be so inclined as to make a little extra for your family to sample early. This is a sly method of keeping happy forks from eating the pies two days before Thanksgiving.

Two days before Thanksgiving:

Now is the time to make pumpkin pie, parker house rolls and the stuffing for your turkey. You can refrigerate the pies and stuffing and then pull them out the day of Thanksgiving.

Stick with making only the pumpkin pie and other non-pie desserts. This is not the time to make apple or pecan pie. The crusts of these two pies will not hold up for two days in the refrigerator.

If you will be having a first course soup such as pumpkin soup this can be made two days in advance of Thanksgiving. You can also make up casseroles and cranberry sauce at this time.

Sweet potatoes can be prepared at this time and stored in the refrigerator until Thanksgiving. With the sweet potatoes and casseroles simply prepare them in their baking dishes and wait to cook them. They will easily transfer from the refrigerator to a pre-heated oven on Thanksgiving and give you an almost seamless meal preparation.

Shauna Hanus is a gourmet cook who specializes in creating gourmet recipes. She has put together a special Thanksgiving e-Cookbook that gives you 73 recipes to cook your leftover turkey as well as two bonus e-books of a special holiday ice cream cookbook that includes favorites like pumpkin pie ice cream and pecan pie ice cream. She has also put together a holiday planning guide to help you have the most enjoyable Thanksgiving ever. You can find all of these at http://www.turkey-leftovers.com

Kid's Peter Pan Halloween Costume Hat

Making a list of gratitudes is an exercise that holds renewed power each time it is repeated. One can never be too conscious of everything there is for which to be grateful. So make a gratitude list today... and make another one next month, or maybe next week, or maybe tomorrow. Don't take ANYTHING for granted... start the list with "being alive," and "being ME." List EVERYTHING there is to be grateful for... NO Assumptions! NO Expectations!

While you're working on your list, let me share mine: I'm grateful to be alive and ME in this instant. I'm grateful for everything that has ever occurred to bring me to this moment of being exactly who I am today. I'm grateful to my distant ancestors who survived eons of sameness punctuated by moments of terror... who fought saber tooth tigers and barely survived each winter in order to pass down the genes that make me who I am today. I am grateful to my father's father who sailed from China alone as a young boy in the hold of a sailing ship, bringing my genes from desperate hunger to the opportunity of America. I am grateful to my father's mother and her ancestors who brought their part of my biological inheritance from Holland to "New Amsterdam." I am grateful to my mother's parents who brought their share of my genes from an unhappy Germany to a new beginning in Connecticut. I am grateful to my parents for choosing to bring me into the world - 17 years after my only sibling, and at an age when most couples of their generation had completed their childbearing. Just genetically, my chances of being ME are infinitesimally small.

I am grateful for everything my parents did and didn't do. I am grateful for the unconditional love I received from each of them. I am grateful for the lessons of my father's heavy drinking, and my mother's fear of strangers. I am grateful both for the joy of my mother's generous readings and other attentions to me, and for the pain my isolated early childhood later caused me. I am grateful even for the bullying and other painful experiences of my youth, as each one made me the person I am today. I am grateful for every success and every failure I have ever had... every new love and every divorce... every promotion and every firing... every smile and every tear.

There is simply nothing NOT to be grateful for.

After years and years of watching other people walk away from Halloween parties with the coveted Most Creative Halloween Costume prize, you are going to make sure that you win this year. But, how are you going to make that happen? Read on to get some great ideas to think about so that you can make your best costume ever.

The most important part of having a creative costume is being original. Originality will make the difference and let you stand out from the rest of the more traditional costumes. If you really want to win a Most Creative Halloween contest, you absolutely cannot buy your costume from a costume shop.

One great way to make a creative costume is to play off of a recent news story involving a famous person. Costumes of this nature will work out even better if the news story has been embarrassing or misfortunate. Consider some examples of just how you can pull it off. You could choose to dress up as Paris Hilton, well accessorized and dressed in a prison outfit. Other options could be Lindsay Lohan desperately searching for a fix, the Obama girl, or Michael Vick dragging a dead dog behind him on a leash.

This type of costume can work out extremely well. Unfortunately, it can also completely fail if other people are not able to recognize you easily. If you do not naturally look anything like the celebrity that you are trying to dress as, you will need to invest a lot of effort into your make up and hair so you can make the costume believable.

A good costume does not stop at the clothing either. Having a truly creative costume will mean that you become the person, even acting and talking like they would.

You need to choose a costume based off of a person that you will be able to imitate comfortably. For example, if you normally dress quite conservatively, but you decide to go to a Halloween party dressed as Britney Spears wearing one of her skimpy outfits, you will need to seriously think about whether or not you will be able to act in character comfortably. The same goes if your body is dramatically different from the celebrity you plan to dress like.

When it comes to couple's costumes, many things have been experimented with. If you want to win a creative couple's costume contest, you will need to work hard to keep things original.

Remember that the whole point of participating in a creative costume contest at a Halloween party is for you to have some real fun. Don't lose sight of that while you are working hard to prepare your creative outfit.

Now's the time to start planning your Halloween costumes for this year. Don't wait until the good ones are all sold out. Get plenty of creative costume ideas on the Get In Costume website, where you can also get a free copy of my report "The Family Guide To Halloween Safety." Music Stand: This is for those of us that have set lists and key structures written out. The music stand is better than picking all your guitar tabs and sheet music up of the floor after they fall off of your amp.

Instrument stand: I can't even count the times that my guitarist kept forgetting his, he'd prop up his electric guitar and I would watch it fall across the amp after just a few minutes...oh well, save your own instrument. If you want to avoid potential costly damage, be sure to invest in a sturdy instrument stand.

Ear plugs: For obvious reasons, ear plugs are a necessity for anyone that plays an excessively loud instrument such as an electric guitar, bass guitars or the drums, as well as anyone in close proximity to any such instrument on stage.

At the Gig: Don't drink excessively or dope up. It shows in your playing and your professionalism or lack thereof.

Practice: Be courteous. Send a flier to the neighbors letting them know what time and when you practice ... so if there is a problem they don't call the cops first, they call you.

Band Politics: The band sits at a round table - no egos, everyone gets a say - democracy - discuss your goals, tunings, who knows what, song dynamics, etc. A happy band is a successful band.

Bring a Towel (or five): To sop up the spilled beer on your amp that your guitarist denies he did. This will also help to keep the stage cleaner and safer for everyone in the band.

Cable: Loop your cable through your amp handle and your strap so it doesn't fall out.

Guitar Picks: Different gauges for anyone in your band who uses one.

Spare Cords and Cables: Oh yeah it worked yesterday why doesn't it work today? BTW, wrap your cords when you are done - the copper wire has a memory.

Spare Microphones: If you sing it is always good to have a back up. There is nothing like watching, in slow motion, a microphone hitting the ground and splitting into pieces.

Tuner: Guaranteed your guitarist thinks he's in tune and everybody else is out.

Extra Batteries: For the tuner (which proves your guitarist wrong) or effects pedals.

Extra bass guitar and guitar strings: Obviously for yourself but even a set of guitar strings. Guaranteed when a guitar string breaks, it's always the high E ... and it's on a Sunday and the music store is closed and the gig is in an hour.

Drum Key: Drummer arrives and can't tune his set, or can't put a new skin on.

Power Strip/Surge Protector: For some reason, clubs always have problems with their power, go figure - too many surges or blown circuit breakers than I care to remember.

Screwdriver: To get into your instrument or amp if there are any problems.

Allen Wrenches: A must have if you want or do any instrument adjustments.

Tubes: For all of you oldies out there.

Fuses: GK amps especially.

Pen/Paper: Whether for a song idea that pops into your head mid-show, or just any random idea you happen to think of, a pen a paper always seen to come in handy.

Crazy Glue: For your fingers or your guitarist's mouth.

Duct Tape: Repairs anything ... also for guitarist ... oh yeah broken drum skins.

Duffel Bag: To carry everything you are secretly supplying.

Spare Cloths: For yourself, not the kinky kind but something that is comfortable for either relaxing in before/after the show, or to change into should you or someone else have an accident with a drink.

Take every suggestion on this list to heart, and you are good to go for your next gig. I know you will feel like a walking hardware store, but trust me you will thank me in the end.

One final tip, don't tell your fellow band members all that you have. Otherwise, they will always rely on you every time to be there personal supplier. The purpose of having all of this equipment on hand is to be there to save the day ... for yourself and others, but most importantly to bring a sense of professionalism to your craft. Rock on!

Whether youre in a new band just starting out or an experienced musician familiar with the scene, you will always take something away from every gig you play. If could be something that didnt go as planned that you will know not to try at the next gig, something that was a huge crowd pleaser that will definitely make a reappearance, or something as simple as your own personal set of rituals that gets you and your band ready for each show.

Below are a number of helpful tips and suggestions to keep in mind at your next gig. Whether you play the guitar or the violin, these are all good general things for any musician to know, and could also help your next big show to run a little bit smoother.

"Celebrate, celebrate! Dance to the music!" - Three Dog Night

"I just want to celebrate another day of livin'." - Rare Earth

"It's a celebration!"- Kool and the Gang

Let's put this under the heading of "things I just don't
understand."

What I want to know is this - why do we treat the holiday season like it's an emergency?

I mean, it's not like Christmas comes as a surprise every year.

Because we treat the holiday season as an emergency, we tend to forget what the season is all about: celebration!

Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or simply a few days off from work, the point is to celebrate.

With that notion in mind, I've taken the word "celebration" and come up with 11 suggestions for how to tap into the power of celebration in your life.

Cherish - Cherish your life, your loved ones, your work. My dictionary defines cherish as "to hold dear to you." There are so many things in our lives to cherish. What might it be for you?

Enthusiasm - So many people go through each day in a trance. If you don't believe me, just stand outside a large office building on_Monday morning, and you'll see what I mean.

What would our lives be like if we brought the same kind of enthusiasm that we bring to a football game into all areas of our lives?

Living with Passion - "Live with passion" is the motto of motivational expert Tony Robbins. Similar to enthusiasm, living with passion means to make the most of every day, every event, every gift, every relationship.

Excitement - Have you ever noticed that many of the sensations that are part of excitement (rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms, feeling charged) are also the same sensations that go along with anxiety? How could you change your anxiety into excitement this year?

Belief - It was Jesus who said, "If you have be lief the size of a mustard seed, you can say to that mountain, move, and it shall be moved." The power of belief allows us to move the mountains of our lives.

Rejoice - Exactly what does it mean to rejoice? My dictionary defines rejoice as "to feel or express joy or gladness, to exult." A rejoicing soul is a happy soul: Find something to rejoice in this holiday.

Attitude and action - It's been said that "your attitude determines your altitude." While that may be true in part, attitude is worthless unless it's followed by action.

Time - We are all familiar with the old saying, "Time heals all wounds." Sorry, I don't buy it. Time is neutral; it merely passes. It's what we do with our time that makes the difference between mediocrity and a life well lived.

Imagination - Do you use yours? Or have you set it aside? The power of imagination is at the root of every great change and achievement.

Opportunity - When we focus on what is wrong with our lives, we tend to miss the opportunities that come our way. When we are celebrating our lives, we are focusing on what works, and then are able to see the multitude or opportunities that come our way each day.

Now: Celebrate now - Not next year, not when you are out of school, not when you get that new job or are making more money. Celebrate now. No one is promised a next year or even a tomorrow. Celebrate now.

In closing, if you used just one of these tips in this holiday season and next year, I believe you would benefit.

Allow me to leave you with this question:

What would your life be like if you used all 11 of them, and celebrated all year long?

It is always a stressful job for parents to find the best Halloween costume for their children. Usually the girls are the most demanding. So here are some of the popular Halloween costumes for teenage girls to make it easier on you.

Pre-teen girls prefer to wear dresses and go as princesses. This is different for teenagers, they like to be the center of attention and therefore their costumes have to be unique, specific, dark, scary and those are most of the time very expensive.

Some of those well liked are the Hello Kitty Charlstone Kitty Girl Teen Costume or Jazzy Baby.

Others prefer to be more of the original type and search for something that has not been seen before. The most popular are the Cavewoman costume, which includes a dress and a club. Another interesting idea for two teenage girls is to go as a pair of dice, this can also be home made and it will cost you less than $20.

If there is a group of four girls there is a very easy solution, they can chose to dress as four seasons. This is simple and very interesting; all you need is a little imagination. And we all know that teenage girls walk together so this should be an easy and fun idea from them.

Moms, keep in mind that dressing up as a devil or an angel is not so popular these days, but if you add a third person, a "normal" person in the center, with a devil and an angel by your side you get an interesting new concept.

Other costumes that are popular but still not so original are pirate girl costumes, as well as gypsy's costume. As gypsies, they can go around and tell people's fortune all night cool fun and not so expensive.

Charlie's Angels is hits the target, gives them all the liberty to dress up, and they can go in a group of three.

Mom's I know that they are your babies, but the reality is that they are in transition of getting into the adult stage, so make sure you let them make their own choice. This list of popular Halloween Costumes for teenage girls is just an aid to help you out.

Can't Make up Your Mind and Need more Choices, check out the Unique Halloween Costume Online!

Many a heart are fluttering, anticipating Valentine's Day. If you've just split with your partner, don't mope. Instead, splurge and give yourself a treat. There's no time like now to get in shape. Who knows? You'll find new love waiting in the wings, so indulge and enjoy Valentine's Day with your dearest friends and your favorite things.

A Valentine's Day Alone?

Come Valentine's Day, all the world's lovers will be celebrating. There will be intimate dinners, dancing, a stroll in the park, movies and popcorn, and a date in the ice cream parlor. The postman will be delivering cards and inboxes will be full of tender messages. But if you've just split up with your boyfriend, chances are you'll be crying your heart out, especially if you've learned he's going out with someone new.

If you're intending to drown your sorrow in booze and emo music, expect to look like a wreck in the morning after. What if you bump into your ex-boyfriend the next day? That would be a crying shame. So instead of ruining your looks, splurge and pamper yourself. Give yourself a treat. Cheer up and roll up your sleeves. Give yourself a spa treatment at home, cook up a Mexican dinner, chill the wine, and watch the latest movie in DVD. And not a romantic movie, please. You're better off with adventure and thrillers at this point. Nothing should start you feeling sorry for yourself.

Top Things To Do When Spending Valentine's Day Alone

Before the big night, get a new hair style and enjoy a beauty makeover. In short, spend your money on yourself. Or, if you prefer the privacy of your own home, by all means, indulge in a warm bath. Light up scented candles, play soft music, and think about the future. Losing your man is painful and it's hard to get over the separation. But it is not yet the end of the world.

The key to a successful Valentine's Day alone is keeping yourself busy. Call up your single friends and those who are not committed to anybody at the moment. Dress up and put your best foot forward. Put on a dab of your most expensive perfume. In short, smell and look like a movie star. Be ready to meet new people. There are guys out there also going through a nasty break up. Be cheerful. Don't bore your friends to tears with your sob story. They've also had their share of break-ups, but if you watch them closely, they're happy and enjoying themselves. There are no more traces of recriminations and loneliness. So party and have fun, but be careful with the booze. Drinking too much might just bring on the bittersweet memories.

If you prefer to be alone at home, why not? Put up a grand feast with leftovers from the gourmet gift baskets you hoarded last Christmas. You can plop yourself on the big sofa bed, watch TV, or listen to your favorite music. A good book can be a good companion, too. Remember to call your parents and your siblings or email them your greetings. It's always heartening to know you have people who love you, and they are just a call away. So cheer up and face Valentine's Day with a smile and hide your broken heart for the moment. The sun will still shine the day after.

It's perfectly okay to be single on the Day of Hearts, especially if you have gourmet gift baskets. Bring out the liquor flasks and Colibri lighters and enjoy the day. Visit ExecutiveGiftShoppe.com today.
